Description : Rarabe is a precious tree endemic to the humid forests of Madagascar. Nicknamed the "nutmeg tree of Madagascar" due to the enchanting nutmeg smell of the butter extracted from its seeds, its vegetable oil has exceptional benefits for your beauty and well-being. Rich in fatty acids, the butter effectively soothes and softens the skin. It is precisely for its lasting gentleness that Renala uses it in its balms.
Fascinated by its cosmetic properties, as part of its Research and Development activities, Renala chose to recognize this little-known tree by having it acknowledged as a cosmetic ingredient by the INCI, the International Nomenclature of Cosmetic Ingredients.
The seeds are sustainably harvested by our local partner communities in Nosy Varika, a commune in the east of Madagascar cut off from the world, accessible by boat as the road leading to it is almost impassable. They are then crushed and ground in our workshop to produce Rarabe butter, a rare product, which will also be used in the formulation of our :
