The protection of nature and the economic development of local communities are at the heart of our commitment.

Renala values plants and forest products with unique active principles to manufacture cosmetic care with exceptional scents and benefits. To achieve this, Renala works with over 5600 gatherers and producers from local communities in 7 regions of Madagascar.

Our production relies on the rigorous selection of natural and pure ingredients, the absence of the use of synthetic chemicals and genetically modified organisms, the recycling of organic materials, and the respect for animal welfare.

Within our workshop, we promote a "Zero Waste" policy : all production residues are recycled and valued, and to reduce our ecological impact, Renala does not use plastic for the packaging of its products. All our packaging is recyclable glass or cardboard.

Thus, Renala supports local communities in the development of a sustainable economic sector by valuing non-timber forest products (NTFP). The company transforms seeds from forests to produce oils, cosmetic ingredients, and nutraceuticals. As a result, local communities, benefiting from additional income through these activities, are convinced of the value of natural resources and the associated challenges of their protection.
